Miro Quickstart: van functionaliteiten naar je eigen bord

Welcome to STUDIO.WHY’s online Miro Training! In this interactive session, you will discover step by step how to get the most out of Miro: from basic functionalities to advanced smart tools. Led by an experienced trainer—who has designed countless boards and successfully used them in various sessions—you will not only learn what is possible, but you will also experience it for yourself.

The basic functions

We start the Miro Training with an overview of the most important elements: sticky notes, frames, connections, and the power of templates. Then we dive into useful shortcuts, plugins, and integrations that make your workflow lightning fast. Whether you’re brainstorming, visualizing processes, or supporting your team with agile methods, after this training you’ll know all the buttons and which functionality to use when.

Advanced features

In the second part of the Miro Training, you will get to work with your own board or template. Under the guidance of our trainer, you will build a planning board, customer journey template, or creative work canvas—tailored precisely to your needs. This way, you will not only leave with theoretical knowledge, but also with a ready-to-use tool that you can immediately apply in your daily practice.

This training is intended for those who want to facilitate workshops and utilize the capabilities of Miro, but are not yet familiar with many of the useful tips and tricks.

Explore Miro

In the first hour, you will learn about the various possibilities offered by Miro. You will use our Miro environment, which has the latest features. You will get started with basic functionalities such as placing a post-it note, placing different post-it notes, and quickly organizing information on the board. You will learn how to move and connect elements and place content from elsewhere on the board. You will learn that Miro has different categories of functionalities and how to use them.

Advanced features

In the second hour, you will learn about the more advanced features of Miro. How can you create a presentation of your content in just a few seconds? How can you use Miro's AI to turn a website design into a clickable prototype? How can you integrate your documents from Office 365 or Google Workspace into Miro? How can you use Templates and Frames? How can you use Building Blocks?

Design your own board-template

In the third hour, you will start building your own board or template. You will apply the various possibilities offered by Miro. If you get stuck, don't worry, the trainer will help you. After the training, you can download the board you created and use it in your own Miro environment. Afterwards, you will receive a certificate from our blockchain.

Your Certificate of Participation

After completion, you will receive a digital certificate as proof of your participation to the Miro Training. This digital certificate is issued from our secure environment and can easily be shared on social media, for example on your LinkedIn profile. This allows you to show your network that you are investing in your own development.

If you prefer to frame your certificate, you can of course also print the document. All certificates can be downloaded in PDF format and then verified using verification technology.
