VR Experience EARTH FROM SPACE®
The first part of the VR Workshop EARTH FROM SPACE® is about feeling.
After a brief introduction, participants embark on a virtual space journey. You will experience the Overview Effect, which is what astronauts experience when they see Earth from space. This is done using a specially developed program that is unique in the world. It is the first VR Experience to make this possible. Once everyone is back in Geldermalsen, we will reflect on what you have seen, thought, and felt.
EARTHQUIZ
The second part of the VR Workshop EARTH FROM SPACE® is about knowing.
After this impressive experience, we will test your knowledge of developments in the atmosphere, biosphere, and oceans. We will reflect on what has happened in recent years and look to the future with scientists. Do you have a realistic picture of how fast some changes are happening and what the impact of a number of changes will be? We sometimes do this quiz in teams, sometimes individually.
Hope and optimism
The third part of the VR Workshop EARTH FROM SPACE® is about contributing to change.
In the third and final part, we focus on hope and optimism. You will learn from people who have taken action to make a difference. From inspiring projects that contribute to a sustainable and just future for generations to come. We will reflect on the Sustainable Development Goals and the Inner Development Goals, and on ways to involve organizations and ecosystems in change. Finally, we will discuss what you want and can do and what obstacles you encounter in doing so. We will do this while enjoying a drink.
