Almost all lectures are about the primary subjects of your study. Windesheim believes that students benefit from experiencing lessons that addresses other elements. That’s why STUDIO.WHY was asked to facilitate a serious game at the beginning of the new year at the university.
We set up a serious game at the university. Students took place in one of the startup teams and experienced how you can come up with creative new solutions if you apply STUDIO.WHY Design Thinking. During one afternoon they worked on a challenge for a theme park, pitching their ideas on stage in the end.
The students experienced various tools and techniques, learned about new technologies, took part in emphatic conversations and created many (crazy) ideas. By mixing students from various studies, they broaden their network and experienced how it is to collaborate with people from a different background. During the game the participants reflected on the lessons learned.
